Music at Holy Trinity Church

Folkestone

Holy Trinity Church in Folkestone was built by Lord Radnor in 1868 and has always had a strong musical tradition. The church has a fine large three manual organ built by Bishop and Starr in 1869 which claims to number among the finest in the South of England. It had a major rebuild in 1966 and has been maintained in excellent condition.

Under the current leadership of Tim Parsons the choir of men, boys and girls sing a wide repertoire of Anglican music. The musical tradition is upheld and supported by The Friends of the music who arrange a series of organ recitals each summer and raise funds for the training of an organ scholar.
